This Week in Grails (2011-30)

Monday, August 01st, 2011

The big news this week is the 2.0.0.M1 release of Grails. This is a big release with a ton of features. Check out the Release Notes and the current user guide, in particular the What’s new in Grails 2.0? notes. Also check out the docs on using Grails 2.0 in STS.

Marco Vermeulen has updated his Ubuntu installation process for 2.0 and Rene Gröschke has updated macports.

I missed an item last week – Lucas Teixeira announced a new Grails-based site launch, Simbo – Real Estate Agencies Platform, which he describes as “a web-based platform for real estate agencies and individual agents”. Sounds pretty cool – check it out.
